The hoodie is inspired by the Nordic Goddes Hel, Hel is said to preside over an underworld realm of the same name, where she receives a portion of the dead. Hel is referred to as a daughter of Loki. Hel is described as having been appointed by the god Odin as ruler of a realm of the same name, located in Niflheim. The style of the print is splatter art it's a painting technique in which paint is flung, with the flick of a brush, onto the painting surface.
